Reggae...





The reggae is a musical genre, developed in Jamaica in the middle of 1960. This genre evolved of various music styles like the Ska (a popular dance music, that combine rhythm and blues with Jamaica´s traditional African music) and the Rock Steady (replaced the fast beat of Ska with a slower beat).

Reggae incorporates some of the musical elements of rhythm and blues (R&B), jazz, mento, calypso, African, and Latin American music, as well as other genres.

The reggae is rhythmic characterized for the type of accentuation of the off-beat, know like skant.

Percussion instruments




Are musical instruments that sound when be struck or scraped by a beater, a hand or struck against other similar musical instrument, is consider one of the oldest musical instruments. 


In general the musical function of the percussion instruments is rhythmic.

Classification:

 Idiophones
 Membranophones
-     Concussion idiophones or clappers: played in pairs and beaten against each other, such as zills and clapsticks.
-     Percussion idiophones: includes many percussion instruments played with the hand or by a  percussion mallet, such as the hangs, gongs and the xylophone, but not drums and only some cymbals.
-     Struck drums, includes most types of drum, such as the timpani, snare drum, and tom-tom. 
-     Percussion reeds: a class of wind instrument unrelated to percussion in the more common sense.
There are many instruments that have some claim to being percussion, but are classified otherwise:
·         Keyboards like the piano.
·         Stringed instruments  played with beaters.
·         Unpitched whistles and similar instruments.

Pablo Olivares

Pablo Olivares is an argentine christian singer. In the past he was the founder of Halogena, which he left to turn christian in 1998.
Pablo actually is one of the most representative singers of the christian music in Latin America.
He born in Argentina, in a strict christian family, and he star to develope some musical concerns, because the music was a big influence in his home and the church since his childhood.
But when he start to grow up, the pressures of a christian environment conduct the anxious Pablo´s heart to other things less spirituals than her mother in his home teach to him.
His life was characteristic for his revelion for the rules set on his school, also his bad scores in the school led consequences in his teenager life, he start his first band inside the school. 


He founded Halogena in 1989 together with ex-partners of the school, the band started to takes off, but the Pablo´s life fall and fall, and they start a tour in Mexico, there they were kidnapped for 8 hours, there he accepted God and handed his life to him. And since this moment  he serves God an sing for him.

Electronic music.

        

This genre of music use for its production and interpretation, electronic instruments and electronic music technology. 
The purely electronic sound can be produce by devices like the Theremin, the sound synthesizer and computer. 

    

This kind of music was associated almost exclusively  with Western art music but in 1960 the availability of the technology make do the electronic music easier and common.
Today the electronic music has many varieties and ranges since experimental art music and electronic dance music. 

In the christian field we can find groups that produce electronic music with a good message, like the song of Capital Kings "Born to love". 
Other groups that do electronic music are group one crew (Live it up), Andy Hunter, and other groups and artist.



Lecrae.

Lecrae is a christian hip hop and rap artist, entrepreneur, and record producer. 

He born and raised with his single mom in Texas, his grandmother carried him to the church but he was indifferent to the God´s things because he thought that it was for older people and that it isn't for him.
He never met his father, who ended up becoming a drug addict. For many situations he started to get involved with the rap music. And he turn to a life of crime and he get involved in a gangs world. 
At the age of 16 he started to take drugs, getting many problems. He dealt drugs. Also he was arrested for drugs possession.
He has a emptiness that nothing could fill up, the drugs, the alcohol, the parties, the womens just let him more empty
At the age of 17 he convinced that he was at a dead end, so he took the decision to go to the church for the influence of her grandmother, and he started to go to a bible study where he met her wife.
Finally at the age of 19 he desire to gave his life to God and live for him.
Five years later he teamed up with Ben Washer to found Reach Records, and he released his first album, Real Talk.
Right now he serves God and all his music has a message about God, and how he change his life, and that can change many lifes. :)

String instruments


Are musical instruments that produce sound vibrating strings, that usually amplificated by the body of the instrument, the sound is produced by the pulsation, rubbing or striking.

We usually find these instruments in a classic orchestra. That are violins, violas, cellos and basses.
The most cord instruments have a sound box.

The string instruments can be divided in three groups:
1. Lutes: 
instruments in which the strings are supported by a neck and a bout for instance a guitar, violin a saz.
2. Harps:
Instruments in which the strings are contained within a frame.
3.Zithers: 
instruments with the strings mounted on a body. Like a piano.

The Guitar:
The guitar is a instrument that makes sound by the playing of its (typically) six strings with the sound being projected either acoustically or through electrical amplification.

The violin:
 is a string instrument, usually with four strings tuned in perfect fifths. It is the smallest, highest-pitched member of the violin family of string instruments,

The viola:

It is slightly larger than a violin in size and has a deeper sound.

The cello:

Is bigger than the viola and the violin and produce a sound deeper than the other two.

The bass:

is the largest and lowest-pitched bowed string instrument of the violin family.
